Sechskies' Kang Sung Hoon is receiving heavy criticism from some Big Bang fans.
While on tour for his solo concert ‘The Gentle Encore’ Kang Sung Hoon held a performance at the KBS Arena in Seoul on July 28. His setlist included a ‘secret song’, this ‘secret song’ being a remaking of ‘Flower Road’- the fan song Big Bang released in time of their military enlistments.
Kang Sung Hoons remake included the removal of the original artists name ‘Big Bang’ and inserting his nickname ‘Hoony’.
This started to infuriate Big Bang fans, not only for the removal of his name, but for performing the song for his solo performance in the first place. The fans arguing that ‘Flower Road’ is not simply a Big Bang song but has a precious and important meaning to Big Bang and their fan base V.I.P’s. In addition, Big Bang has never performed the song together, fans making that point as to why the song shouldn’t of been remade or sung at a solo concert.
Kang Sung Hoon's Instagram has now been taken over by angered Big Bang fans. While some netizens agree that the song should not have been performed, there are other standing by the singers side saying that the fans are simply over reacting.
