Wanna One are extending their contract!?!?

Wanna One are reportedly working on extending their contracts! According to some media outlets, the entertainment companies CJ E&M, Swing Entertainment and more as well as Wanna One members met to discuss the possibility of extending their contracts until the end of January, as the band was set to disband on December 31 this year.

This marks the first time a discussion of a possible contract extension has been considered for the boys. The idea is so that the boys can attened certain ceremonies that take place in January, and also give them the option to perform a finale concert in January as well.

Currently, the labels are split among three options: 1. all 11 members extending the contract; 2. continuing as Wanna One with the members that are willing to extend the contract; 3. ending the contract if less than 11 members extend contract.

The labels will meet a few more times to officially arrive at their decision.

Wanna One’s Swing Entertainment have released a statement on the contract extension saying

"It's true that the labels met up recently to discuss possibilities about Wanna One's promotions. We did discuss various methods on extending their contract, but we have confirmed nothing so far."
